Oil and Filter Serivce

Routine oil and filter services are an essential service every car needs to maintain health. Auto Manufacturers have stretched out there oil service intervals to benefit themselves with their maintenance plans. We believe 5,000 mile intervals with a great synthetic oil is a sufficient interval. Oil not only acts as a lubricant on metal to metal surfaces but it also helps cool the engine. Using a top quality oil and filter plays an important roll too. Here at Woodward Motorsport we use only OE or OEM filters by trusted brands such as Mann, Mahle, and Hengst. Motul is our go to for high performing oil for any application.

Transmission Fluid Service

All transmissions, automatic, manual, DCT, SMG, etc. have one thing in common. Irregular fluid changes can be detrimental to your driving experience. Clunking, grinding, burning odors, slipping gears to leaking fluid pans can all be symptoms of bad/old/dirty fluid. Fluid is not "LIFETIME" no matter what the dealer tells you. Contact us today to find out what the proper interval is for your transmission.

Differential Fluid Service

Differentials just like engines have moving metal parts that experience the same forces from the engine but also from the road. Those moving metal parts and gears need proper lubrication to ensure clearances are correct. If the fluid is old or low it can lead to noise from the differentials or even worse they can lock up which could lead to an accident.

Transfer Case Fluid Service

All wheel drive vehicles are equipped with a transfer case that sits behind the transmission and distributes the power to both the front and the rear of the car. Lack of servicing or leaks can lead to stuttering, extra strain on the drivetrain, or overall failure of the all wheel drive system.

Coolant Service

Engine coolant, as its name leads you to believe, is essential in maintaining a cool engine in any scenario. Engine coolant is used to cool throughout the engine and in some cases is even integrated into combined coolers to help cool engine oil or in other cases transmission fluid. Leaks, low or dirty fluid can lead to improper cooling and even thermal meltdown.

Brake Fluid Service

Good quality, clean and proper level of brake fluid is needed to insure a safe driving experience. It is industry standard to replace your brake fluid every two years do to its tendency to absorb moisture overtime which lowers it boiling point. Since the design of brakes are to convert the rotating energy of the brake disk into heat by pressing brake pads onto the disk. This pressure creates high levels of friction which intern creates high levels of heat. This heat can vary from super high temps on the track to normal temps putting around town. Either way you want your car to be able to handle any braking situation you throw its way.
